Artist's Comments
Drawing dedicated to the film Kill Bill vol1, one of the coolest films I've seen! One of my fav scenes in the film was the anime scene, I somehow wanted to use this in my drawing. I started with a drawing of Uma in the centre. I then filled up the background around her with some of my fav moments from the anime scene. At first I wanted to do it all in color but I thought Uma wouldn't stand out as much so I did the anime background in black and white. I did it the hard way, had my dvd on pause to draw and shade the entire anime background! Caused alittle bit of pain in my eyes afterwards but it was worth it.
Pencil, color pencil and pen. A3 size paper. Completed in around 3 weeks. |
