This is kind of a follow up drawing to the Shaw Brothers drawing because it's a kungfu theme. So far on one page I've mainly done different variations of multiple heads. The next step was half bodies and full bodies! I wanted this to be alittle different, so I thought drawing actual fight scenes from the kungfu films would be a cool idea! I used ref photos from mags, books and videos. It was done the hard way with no outline or plan. I just started from the bottom left and worked my way to the top! The most difficult thing about this drawing was not just that I'm using pen. It was when I finished one person and started on the person he/she is fighting if they are making contact. If the leftside fighter is making contact with his arms I have to start drawing the rightside fighter from his arms to get the positioning right! It's the same if they are using legs! This is the first time I've ever drawn a person first from his legs all the way to his head last! The most difficult fight scene to draw was the 3 people attached together with a wooden spear! I think overall this was my toughest pen drawing. But it was alot fun and I really enjoyed the challenge of drawing it!
